Christian Stenzel

Christian Stenzel is an expert for scientific payloads for materials science and fundamental physics experiments at Airbus DS GmbH. He is engaged in the development of scientific facilities and instruments for numerous experiments in space with a dedicated focus on high-temperature and sensor technologies; in the recent years he has performed first investigations on sustainable concepts for a material flow during space exploration missions. He received his diploma degree and Ph. D. from the Free University of Berlin, Germany in the field of solid-state physics with nuclear methods. After a 12 month post-doc at the State University of New York in Stony Brook he joined Airbus DS GmbH in 1989.
